If you’re one of the estimated 70 million people who visited one of the U.S. Disney theme parks (either in Florida or California) this year, you may want to experience the magic all over again, but you may not be able to take your family all the way to the parks. Renting Disney movies and watching Disney attractions on youtube may not be good enough, and you may have given up hope, but you may be able to benefit from one of the most overlooked and fun Disney tips there are. Instead of taking your family to Disney World, let Disney World come to you!
The way that you can do that is to visit the official Disney website, and go to the Disney on Ice section. From there, you can seek out upcoming Disney On Ice performances that are near enough to drive to, and experience the magic of Disney almost in your own back yard!
One of the current Disney On Ice shows is the Disney Princesses, and it is a delight to any Disney Princess fan. The average ticket price to this event is around $15 per ticket, so you could easily take a family of four to the event, and, including souvenirs, can experience Disney for less than $100! Another of the Disney tips to keep in mind is that the souvenirs at these events can get pricey, so, if you set limits with your children early on, they will be able to pick out what they want without breaking the budget.
The format of the current Disney Princesses on Ice show is delightful, as Tinkerbell is the “master of ceremonies” and introduces each of the seven Disney princesses and their stories. If that weren’t enough, even Mickey himself, Minnie, and Goofy make an appearance in the show! The performance is approximately two hours long, but it is broken down into two one hour sessions and one intermission in the middle. The princesses each have a segment where they skate to the music associated with them and tell their story through some very entertaining moves.
In no certain order, here are the princesses you can look forward to seeing:
- Jasmine
- Snow White
- Belle
- Mulan
- Sleeping Beauty
- Ariel
- Cinderella
Without a doubt, Cinderella, the final princess to skate, is the highlight of the show, and Cinderella’s two stepsisters, Druzilla and Anastasia, almost steal the show. The finale of the Disney Princesses on Ice show has all the princesses, with each of their respective princes, coming out for an unforgettable group skate.
The skaters are all top notch talented, and the performance is typical high qualify Disney. For a fantastic way to let Disney World come to you, there may not be any way better than to see a Disney On Ice show!
