Bangkok Hotels Near The Nightlife
Anyone who knows anything about Thailand knows that Bangkok has one of the craziest nightlife scenes anywhere in the world. People young and old, male and female (and others) come to Bangkok to party the night away in some of the wildest clubs, pubs and bars you’ll ever see.
If you’re coming to Bangkok to partake of the party scene then you’ll definitely want a hotel that is close to all the action. Lucky for you that there are hundreds (maybe thousands?) of Bangkok hotels to choose from.
One of the biggest party areas in Bangkok is along Sukhumvit Road. Everything from the ultra modern clubs such as Bed Supperclub, Twisted Republic Nightclub and Q-Bar to the more seedy areas of Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy can be found along Sukhumvit Road. And there are many large international caliber hotels such as the Marriott and Landmark hotels to stay at as well.
While the international hotels are great, there is a more inexpensive way to enjoy the party going on all along Sukhumvit and that is by staying at the smaller hotels run by Thai companies and individuals. These hotels can provide all the amenities that you could want at less than half the price of the larger and more well know international establishments.
One such hotel is the Majestic Grande Hotel located right across from Nana Plaza and very affordable with prices starting at $82 a night. Another reasonable hotel is the Adelphi Suites Hotel and Serviced Apartments, which is a bit farther up Sukhumvit at Soi 8 (Soi means street in Thai), but is still convenient to all the nightlife. And there’s always the Bangkok Holiday Inn to consider as well.
If you’re coming to Bangkok for the nightlife then I totally recommend that you stay close by if at all possible. While taxi’s are cheap in Bangkok, the traffic is horrendous so traveling about can take quite a bite out of your vacation. Save yourself the time and aggravation by simply staying where you need to be anyway. This way you can get the most enjoyment out of your time in Bangkok and isn’t enjoyment the reason you’re going in the first place?
