It is most fun to go trekking on your own or with a group of people you know well. Just imagine the time you can have walking up and down a certain area or just glide across the terrain. Obviously trekking is not just walking; it is also taking in the scenes of the place: the trees, the flowers, the grass, the mountains and hills, the lakes and the rivers and so on. If you are a keen trekker, you will also remember to bring along a digital camera with you to capture the images that you will want to remember for a long time to come. However, it might not be feasible to do so, when you are going to places that you know the least about. Not only is there a danger of not knowing what to expect but you may fall into troubles that can be life threatening. Like any other adventure, trekking is a learning experience along with a fun activity but without proper Nepal trekking information you will miss the fun of it and the learning experience may be painful. This is true of Nepal trekking as well it might be more essential for tourists to have some guidelines. The terrain of Nepal may get confusing and there have been cases of people disappearing while trekking.

Below are some of the things that you need to keep in mind if your are trekking in Nepal.

Get a local guide: Depending on where you are traveling, get a guide who knows about the landscape of the place and also the customs of the people. Remember you will not just be walking but living among the locals so it is best to know about their way of life before venturing on.

Take care of the landscape: It is your utmost duty to take care of the resources you encounter when trekking. It is not right to throw the waste from your personal use in the serene trekking environment; it is also not right for you to take valuable plants and animals without permission of the locals and the government.

Travel the trail: Travel a trail that is frequented less by other people but do not go leaving the trail behind. It is dangerous to do so as you may fall into trouble of not getting back to the original pathway and disappearing from the local’s view.
Concern for the animals and the people: It is best not to disturb the animals and birds in their natural setting; of course you can take pictures but making unnecessary noise is not friendly. Similarly, it is good to respect other people’s way of life. Learn some of the local greetings, so that you can interact with people; and always ask for permission when taking photographs.
