Discounted Disney Tickets: Important Advice to Protect Them and Your Vacation!

You planned the vacation of a lifetime for your family to Walt Disney World. You did your research, and even saved money by purchasing discounted Disney tickets from a reputable online broker. You and your family get to the park gate, and you have lost your tickets! What now?

Happily, there is one very simple way to make sure that your vacation is not ruined by lost theme park tickets: make a copy of the back of them. It takes less than a minute, and can be the one thing that prevents a ruined vacation!

The back side (the one with the magnetic strip) has coded, personal information. And while the tickets do say “Disney is not responsible for misplaced, lost, or stolen tickets”, in all likelihood, if you can provide these codes, you can usually get your tickets re-issued.

Some folks like to take this one step further by actually taking a picture of the backs of the tickets, with either their digital camera or cell phone. This way they have this important information with them at all times, so even if they are lost while at the parks, they have the information with them.

Don’t depend on receipts to get lost tickets replaced: only Disney receipts, with the coded actually printed on the receipt, will get you a re-issued pass. If you used an approved broker to purchase discounted Disney tickets, you will need copies of the coded information on the back of the tickets.

Make sure your Walt Disney World vacation is filled with nothing but magical memories, and be sure to protect your park passes. It only takes a minute to make sure that your tickets are “insured”, and when you consider the time and expense that has gone into planning your vacation, it is inexpensive insurance indeed
